Also ways a good experience when going here. The server is always nice and respectable. Easily the best burgers in town. Would highly recommend for a quick bite!

The Judice Inn was a great place for our 50th High School Reunion welcome. They have party room that we filled and spilled out as the conversation was deep and the keg beer was cold, we remembered our 1969 era on Johnson highway.
This is one of the great whole-in-wall venues in Louisiana and the universe.
They are known for their hamburgers at a value. Everything is wrapped in paper and served on a tray. Bags of chips are additional. Remember an eight ounce coke in a bottle, they have them.
They have been serving grilled sandwiches before most people were born. I am told they use to deliver to your car, but now you go in for take out.
The best sandwich they serve is their egg and cheese on three slices of bread grilled. Add grilled onions to make it even better. -

My favorite place in Lafayette for a basic burger! No fries but the chips and milk shakes make up for it! I love how they keep it family based.

Y'all. This place. THIS freaking place.
Everything about Judice Inn is pretty perfect. They do one thing and they kill it. Burgers. I'm talking bring you your burger in a greasy bag, messy as hell, three napkins messy and you won't find fries on the menu...whaattt? They do have chips, but the focus here is on the burger.
It's on the traffic nightmare from hell that is Johnston Street but I'm here to tell you it's worth it. They have lots of parking so that's always a plus for me because I suck at trying to parallel park. I just wasn't born with that skill. Whatever.
The atmosphere is divey, no frills, what you see is what you get. And while I enjoy being fancy sometimes, laid back is my middle name. So, it works for me.
I had the double cheeseburger and a ton of grilled onions and couldn't finish it all when I stopped in for a late lunch. It was juicy and perfectly cooked. Just amazing. I don't want to be premature and say it's the best burger in Lafayette...yet. But it's up there. Top five for sure.
If you're a burger lover go try this institution as soon as you can. -

Classic burger in Lafayette. My review may be a bit lower, only because I never got the hype. Don't get me wrong, this place makes a good burger, but people act like it's the best burger you're ever gonna have. I'd give this place four stars if I didn't have to wait sometimes, and in my opinion there's only so much you can do with a burger. If you're in Lafayette, I recommend trying this place to see what the hype is about, but it isn't my go to.
